Teatro Principal (Principal Theater)
It was inaugurated in 1760 with a design that was similar to that of the old Theater of the City of Mexico (Teatro de la Ciudad de México). It was reconstructed in 1920 and given its present name that same year. In 1941, it was remodeled conserving its strong Vice Royal essence. It is one of the oldest functioning theaters in the Americas.
