Museo Amparo (Amparo Museum)

The building that houses it is in reality two important constructions from the 17th and 18th centuries. The Amparo Museum is one of the most important of its kind in Latin America. It stands out for the adaptation of colonial its spaces for the exhibition of archeological and artistic works. It has a computerized digital information system, which works through an interactive compact disc and allows one to see images of the pieces while hearing a narration of them in various languages. It houses pieces of great value spanning the ages from pre-Hispanic to contemporary.
