Casa de los Muñecos y Museo Universitario House of Dolls & University Museum
Built in 1792, it is one of the most curious of the civilian New Spanish Baroque buildings and an early example use of the marvelous talavera ceramic tiles for exterior decoration with lay themes. The house was restored in 1987 and ever since houses the Museum of the Autonomous University of Puebla (Museo de la Universidad Autonoma de Puebla) where the permanent exhibition of the wealth of the University gallery is housed. This collection consists of more than 200 works of the colonial era. There are also seasonal exhibits in the Francisco Xavier Clavijero and Francisco Xavier Alegre halls.
